Maruti Suzuki India is now involved in a fresh controversy in which the workers have allege that the management has paid bribes to end the long strike which has caused the company a huge loss. The workers believe that both Shiv Kumar and Sonu Gujjar were given Rs 1 crore each and that the Haryana government has promised them flats and cars in Delhi.

They also alleged that 28 other workers who had resigned were given Rs 20 lakh each. These allegations could not, however, be independently confirmed and both Maruti as well as the leaders have denied it.

According to the company these workers have resigned and according to the contract they have been paid there dues and some compensation. Also the workers have also confirmed this thing that they have no choice but to resign as the company was conducting an internal inquiry and so they have decide to resign on payouts.
