A resident of Delhi at some point or other does experience the biggest nightmare for a traveler on road, Traffic! It is simply unavoidable at the peak hours of the day, but people who have been caught in unexplainable traffic for long have become smart in avoiding getting stuck. They find alternate routes or prefer spending an extra hour in office to smoothly drive their way back to home.

For those who have been lucky enough to have not yet experienced the Delhi traffic (the no. which I doubt is miniscule), we list down the routes where traffic is most commonly faced.

6. Lajpat Nagar Flyover
The traffic on the Lajpat Nagar flyover is repeatedly faced, primarily because it is the shopping destination for many and secondly because it is the route of all office goers.

5. Loni Road
This road in East Delhi has commuters in faze. A ride on this road will exercise your feet when you struggle between brake and accelerator.

4. Chirag Dilli
This intersection makes you wait for excruciating long hours. The BRT corridor was introduced to release the bottleneck at this intersection; however it has only doubled the pain of people who have to unfortunately take up the route often.

3. Naraina Lohamandi Flyover
You can often come across heavy traffic from the Naraina flyover towards Dhaula Kuan. The slow pace at which the traffic moves is sure to give you a heart ache.

2. Ring Road between Moolchand and AIIMS
This route sees traffic that stretches to long distance. With the recent construction of Metro going on this road, the traffic has further become unmanageable.

1. Connaught Place
Connaught Place is the center of attraction in Delhi because of it being a financial and business center. As it houses many Indian firms, it witnesses traffic that can make you count your heart beat.
