We all have grown up hearing ghost stories, and eerie places that are possessed. For all those people who didn’t know about such places in the nation’s capital, Delhi and who wish to explore the same, here is a list of some of the spooky places of our very own city.

So go there at your own risk and explore!

Delhi Cantonment

It is said that a woman in white clothes comes out from the lush green area,who asks for a lift from the passengers. If she is denied a lift then she runs at the speed of the vehicle.

Sanjay Van

Apparently, this forest area near Qutub Minar spread over 10km is said to be haunted by spirits. Many encounters of crying children, pushing and clawing has been reported as there is a cremation ground inside the forest.

Khooni Darwaza

Khooni Darwaaza near Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg is the place where the three sons of Bahadur Shah Zafar were executed. It is said that those three princes still haunt this place. The blood drips from the ceiling and screaming voices are heard during night.

Feroz Shah Kotla Fort

The Feroz Shah Kotla Fort built in 1345 is said to have Djinns residing in the ruins of this fort. On Thursdays, people light candles, incense sticks and also offer milk and grains to pacify the Dijinns who haunt this place.

Lothian Cemetery

Located near Kashmiri Gate, this cemetry is one of the oldest cemetries in Delhi. Legend has it that a young soldier blew his head after being rejected by the girl he loved and who now walks with his head in his hands on moon-less nights.
