I laud Karan Malhotra who has directed ‘Agneepath’ excellently. This guy is in the Bollywood surely for a long run. Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt have proved once again that they are quiet talented actors. And after a long time, I’ve heard good background music in Bollywood’s action movie.

The movie starts like the old version of Agneepath. Vijay Dinanath Chauhan’s (Hrithik Roshan) father is murdered by Kancha Chinha (Sanjay Dutt) in Mandwa. Young Vijay takes pledge then to kill Kancha and take over Mandwa. After killing Sub-Inspector in childhood, Vijay joins the gang of Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor) and becomes his important ally. Vijay Dinanath Chauhan lives to fulfill his dream only and that is to kill Kancha.

At the end, the fight between Vijay and Kancha has been shot brilliantly. The looks of Sanjay Dutt perfectly suited to this deadly Villian role. Hrithik has given excellent performance also although his role wasn’t similar to the old Vijay, which was played by Amitabh Bachchan, still Hrithik proved his ability.

The story line is bit weak but Hrithik and Sanjay Dutt’s acting, movie’s direction and music are quite excellent. Other actors like Rishi Kapoor, Om Puri, Priyanka Chopra have also done justice to their characters.

For me; this is a 4 star movie.
