Speaking in the parliament about the anti-corruption movement going on in India, Varun Gandhi said, “People are supreme and not anything else before them. They are the real pillars of democracy”.
Varun Gandhi also praised Anna Hazare for bringing Indians together with his historic movement. He said, “People’s right is not only to vote but they can also participate in lawmaking”.
“Indians have full authority to raise their voice against corruption in a peaceful manner and it’s absolutely constitutional”, he said.
He also vowed to support with heart to Anna’s campaign saying corruption is the biggest problem of India.
He further added, “Politicians are the public servants so they shouldn’t misuse their powers and only follow the people’s mood”.
