The updated version of the world cheapest tablet has been put on dispaly in the ongoing tech exhibition in nepal .   Thousands of vistors have shown interest in the tablet with aorund 20,000 booking in just 4 days of the ongoing 6 day exhibition .

Eventhough there is a wait period for 2 months but the customers are in no hurry .

The tablet will cost around Rs 6000 in nepal double the price it is in India .  I t was specially designed by the government of India keeping in mind the students but some other sections are also showing interest in this as 1000 pieces of tablets were booked by a resturant chain .

The Aakash tablet was launced in october and the online booking started in december which saw a booking of around 1.4 million in just two weeks . While its advanced version will be available by march  .It is powered by good processor ,bigger battery , new Android operating system ,Wi-fi ,GPRS and acess to 1,50,000 application
