New Delhi: 305 judicial officers of the rank of District judge/Chief Judicial Magistrate serving in various courts of the country are facing serious charges against them for misconduct during the period between April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2011. In all 75 judicial officers of the said rank have been prematurely retired on account of various charges, according to the data furnished on Friday by the Supreme Court. A division bench of chief justice Dipak Mishra and justice Sanjeev Khanna issued notice to the central government, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the home and law ministries and the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT).
