THE RESORT island of Phuket won eighth place among the world’s top 10 islands in a reader survey conducted by TripAdvisor. According to TripAdvisor, Phuket is the second-best island in Asia after Bali, Indonesia, which was ranked fifth in the survey. Regionally, Koh Samui and Koh Tao are ranked third and fourth respectively. Malaysia ranks world’s top location for manufacturing: Survey

Malaysia has been named the world’s top manufacturing location. The index ranked the 30 countries with the largest manufacturing output in terms of the costs, risks and conditions within each country’s manufacturing sector. Malaysia scored well in the costs and risks categories and is one of the least expensive locations within the index. The top five countries in the index are all from Asia.
