One way of guaranteed entry into Bollywood is being a star kid; the progeny of a successful actor. While the beginning for them could be easy, but eventually it’s only their talent that stands the test of time. Thus unmistakably coupled with luck, it is solely their ability that can keep them afloat. So here is a list of top 5 Bollywood celebrities who fall enormously short infront of their successful fathers.
<strong>1. Abhiskek Bachchan:</strong>
Abhiskek Bachchan is the son of critically acclaimed Bollywood celebrities Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. He debuted in the year 2000, with Refugee which bombed at the box office. Though he has tasted success as an actor in movies like Guru, Yuva and Sarkar, he however hasn’t been able to achieve the level of achievement that is known to his parents; his father in particular. Perhaps comparison with his father is unfair on him considering he has been around for only a little over a decade which is very less time as compared to his father; but comparisons do happen and there he definitely falls short!
<strong>2. Tushar Kapoor:</strong>
He is the son of yester year’s bollywood actor, Jeetendra. He debuted with the successful movie Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai opposite Kareena Kapoor but subsequently disappointed with a series of flops at the box office. Being the son of a father who carried entire movies on his shoulders, he was a massive disappointment and now is usually seen in multi starrers in an ensemble cast. His only talking point is the Golmaal series where he doesn’t talk at all!
<strong>3. Aditya Chopra:</strong>
He is the younger son of late Yash Chopra, the golden director of the Indian Film Industry. He was launched in the movie Mohabbatein along many other new faces. Being the son of such a successful director, he failed to achieve any footing in the acting department in the film industry. Infact he has mostly appeared in Yash Raj Films and all his solo projects have failed to create a flutter at the box office. His only notable role has been that of Abishek Bachchan’s side-kick in the Dhoom series.
<strong>4. Jackky Bhagnani;</strong>
He is the son of prominent Indian producer Vashu Bhagnani who forayed into the industry with movies like Kal Kissne Dekha and F.A.L.T.U! Being the son of a father who has given hits like Coolie No. 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein; Jackky Bhagnani surely hasn’t started off on the right foot. For now he is on shaky grounds when it comes to standing next to his father with respect to his laurels.
<strong>5. Sonam Kapoor:</strong>
She was launched in the Indian Film Industry along with Ranvir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya, which wasn’t a hit with the masses. The daughter of veteran actor, Anil Kapoor, her first relatively successful movie was the romantic comedy I Hate Luv Storys. Being the daughter of Anil Kapoor, who is the winner of two National Awards, it must appear that acting runs in her genes but unfortunately she greatly disappoints in that department.
