Jakarta, Apr 11 (ANI): A massive earthquake has hit the West Coast of Sumatra, at a magnitude of 8.7 on the Richter scale.
Indonesia’s geophysical agency has issued tsunami warning to 28 countries including eastern parts of India.
Mild tremors were felt in eastern parts of India, including Guwahati, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai.
Tsunami warning have also been also issued for Andaman and Nicobar Islands and people living in the coastal areas have been asked to vacate the beaches.
